Our Story

Due to the decline in my health, I was forced to leave the Hospitality industry and support myself through less demanding part-time jobs. It was when my health began to improve that I decided to enter the Paralegal Program, completing my training and later working for a paralegal firm. This was until my health took a turn for the worse.

In October 2019, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Shortly after came the onset of COVID-19. I was faced with both physical and economical challenges, first brought on by my illness and then further financially impacted by the effect of COVID.

It was through these challenges that I found myself looking for creative ways, to not just provide for myself but provide an affordable and environmentally friendly way that others can take care of themselves. If I have learned anything, it is that our health should always come first.

I first named my business AG Hand Craft Products, which I was offering handmade bracelets and candles; soon after due to the chemotherapy side effects my skin started showing signs of age, dryness and some spots.

Since I was already doing something with AG I decided to start making my own skincare products free of any chemicals that could harm my skin even more.

I started creating these formulas that I gave to some of my friends and I started selling them. I was very happy with the turnout and even with the good reviews and compliments people were acknowledging.

A very good friend of mine her name is Elena tried my products and gave feedback about the name of the skincare line, and helped me to come up with this beautiful name "Amaru Naturals" which I think it goes perfectly with my story since the name means transformation and I had been in transformation ever since I got sick.
